CareCloud collects customer data from various Contact sources, including an e-commerce site, mobile apps, the web, the loyalty program microsite, the sales kiosk, the omnichannel campaign, newsletters, partner sites, and more. In CareCloud, each customer has a linked source (or multiple sources) from which their data was transferred. Customer contact source is one of the fundamental parameters of customer segmentation. There is a possibility of viewing the Contact sources of the Customer account or adding a new contact source to the Customer account.
Widget Contact Sources is on the "Customer Profile" tab. There is information about when the contact source was assigned, the Contact source name, and the user that assigned the Contact source to the Customer account.
Click on the "Add a new Contact source" icon.
A form will appear. Select a desired Contact source from the possible options. Insert an external ID to identify the customer from the external system matching the contact source.
Click on the "Add a new contact source" button when everything is set.
A new contact source will appear in the "Contact sources" widget and related table.
Click on the "Complete contact source list" icon on the "Contact sources" widget to view detailed information.
A table will appear. There is information about when the customer acquired the contact source, the Contact source name, a user that assigned the Contact source, an External ID, and a Partner.
